T.I And Tinys VH1 Series Suspended #Metoo Organization Gives Statement About Shocking Allegat

Sabrina Peterson originally created a buzz when she accused T.I of holding a gun to her head. After Tony Harris defended her husband, the Glam University owner came back tenfold with even more serious allegations.

It has been a known topic around Atlanta that T.I and Tiny like to explore in the bedroom. However, what Sabrina brought to light was much more than just your average spicing up the bedroom.

The woman who was once close to the couple and allowed her children to call the rapper uncle as recent as November decided to out them for drugging and sexually abusing young women for years.

She posted many stories from people that she called victims to her Story. Now, the Atlanta couple is facing an investigation.

On one side, people are saying that these women were consenting adults who decided to take drugs and engage in intercourse with the married celebrities. On the other, people feel that consent can only go so far when you’re under the influence — and that’s where the problem lies.

VH1 has suspended production on T.I and Tiny: The Family Hustle.

They gave a statement that read: ‘We are aware of the allegations, and while they are not connected to our show, we have reached out to T.I. and [Tiny] Tameka Harris, as well as local and state officials. Given the serious nature of the allegations, we have decided to suspend production in order to gather more information.’

Additionally, the #Metoo movement partnered with Time’s Up and the National Women’s Law Center to release a statement about the situation.

An open letter read, in part: ‘Over the last week, we know countless of you have come forward with credible accusations of horrific sexual abuse and violence at the hands of Black celebrities – including Soulja Boy and T.I. and Tiny. R&B singer Raz B has spoken out once again about his experience of sexual abuse – yet no media outlets, corporate actors, or systems of justice have centered survivors’ stories or promised accountability. Like you, we are carrying the emotional weight of this news and know that we are reliving a collective trauma akin to the exposing of Cosby and R. Kelly.’

It went on to ask the media to hold these public figures accountable for the things that they’ve done.

Hopefully, if T.I and Tiny aren’t innocent, justice is served.
