Real Estate Sydney: Celebrity fashion couple Brooke and Leith Testoni selling $8.5m Mosman home

Celebrity fashion couple and influencers Brooke and Leith Testoni spent four years tracking the sun’s path through their Mosman property so they could nail the redesign of their Arts & Crafts home.

The couple designed and redesigned rooms to make the most of the natural light, added a balcony upstairs, an ensuite opening to outside and a heated pool in the garden.

Brooke is a fashion influencer and designer while Leith co-founded the global men’s outfitters Zanerobe – whose clients include American rapper Isaish Rashad and DJ and record producer Martin Garix.

Every room in this five-bedroom, three-bathroom heritage home has been restored, and some repurposed, under the guiding hand of architect Adam Hampton and builder Damien Lane. Number 156 Raglan St, Mosman has all the elegant hallmarks of a 1906 house with the flow and function of a modern home.

“I am most proud of the open-plan living, dining and kitchen area on the ground floor that has a French country vibe, opens to a deck and is an improvement on the original layout where the kitchen was on the first floor,” Brooke said.

The three-level home has formal and informal living and dining rooms, a palatial parents’ retreat, tumbled marble bathrooms, original staircase, grand interior arches, timber floors and 3.25m high ceilings but also a large practical garage with extra storage, numerous entertaining spaces, and a marble kitchen with butler’s pantry. There is even an established olive grove in the back garden.

Agent Scott Thornton, of Atlas Lower North Shore, said the superior craftsmanship and luxury interior design were exceptional and the house was just a stroll from the heart of Mosman village. It goes to auction on Saturday September 2 guiding $8.5m.

Meanwhile the creative Testonis have caught the renovation bug and are looking for their next challenge.

According to PropTrack 200 homes have been sold in Mosman over the past 12 months, with the median price dropping 2 per cent to $5.194m over that time.
