Ed Sheerans seating plan revealed for 'Subtract' tour at Londons The O2 Arena

Ed Sheeran’s surprise ‘Subtract’ mini-tour will be landing in London for two nights later this month. Having announced the tour last week alongside the release of his new album of the same name, fans have been eagerly waiting to get their hands on tickets.

Queues for pre-sale tickets for his shows in Manchester, Glasgow and Dublin are currently in progress. But those waiting for the London O2 Arena gig will have to wait until the general release, which goes live on Friday, March 10 at 9am via AXS (London only) and Ticketmaster.

The singer-songwriter announced the hotly anticipated album and tour in an emotional social media post, where he revealed his wife Cherry was diagnosed with a tumour while pregnant, his sadness over the loss of his best friend and entrepreneur Jamal Edwards, and his highly publicised court case. He also shared a photo of his diary entry from February last year, explaining how writing music became his therapy.

When will Ed Sheeran be playing in London?

Ed announced a mini-tour of just six dates across the UK, Ireland and Europe. Fortunately, he’ll be playing two nights at The O2 Arena in London at the end of March.

Fans hoping to bag tickets can expect him at the iconic London venue on Friday, March 24 and Sunday, March 25.

Is there a seating chart for Ed Sheeran in London?

While an official seating plan for Ed’s O2 Arena show has yet to be released and confirmed, we can assume it will look similar to this detailed map of the main arena. There will be both standing and seated ticket opportunities.

The O2 Arena’s typical seats are split into Floor, Lower Tier and Upper Tier. The arena floor normally consists of seat blocks A1, A2, A3, B1, B2, B3, C1, C2 and C4.

The lower tier of seating consists of seat blocks 101 in a horse shoe shape round to seat block 112, with blocks 113 to 118, which are located behind the stage, not normally used. In the upper tier of seating you will find seat block 401 on the stage’s right, in a horse shoe shape round to seat block 422 at the stage’s left.

Where else is Ed Sheeran playing in the UK and Ireland?

The ‘Perfect’ singer announced he’ll be playing a limited number of shows in the UK and Ireland this year. In fact, they’re the only gigs he’ll be playing here in 2023.

His other UK and Ireland tour dates are:

AO Arena Manchester, United Kingdom - March 23

The O2 London, United Kingdom - March 24 & 25

OVO Hydro Glasgow, United Kingdom - March 28

3arena Dublin, Ireland - March 30

Ed will also be heading off to Europe for one show in Paris, France, at the Accor Arena on Sunday, April 2. This will finish his Subtract mini-tour.
